Anyone who has read the Kion fandom page and the Wing Lion fandom page and have been wondering "Are they inspired by Simba and Kion from 'The Lion Guard'?". Listen, while ChoiRock didn't confirm that they are inspired by Kion and Simba from "The Lion Guard". However, there still is evidence that Kion and Wing Lion from "Turning Mecard W" are inspired by/based on Simba and Kion from the "Lion Guard" because they have so much in common.
For Kion("Turning Mecard W") and Kion("The Lion Guard"). First evidence of all, they both have powers and abilities by using their roar. Second, they are both lions. Third, they both use their powers to fight for good unless if Kion("Turning Mecard W") is tamed by someone evil. Fourth, they both have the same names.…
